Choosing to be self-employed, Amar had been an Escort since she was 18. She always had a strong will for freedom and independence but a change to recent laws was preventing her from doing her job safely.
A strong advocate for recognizing sex work as real work, Amar wants to deconstruct current stereotypes about her job. "As women, we should not have to justify what we want to do with our bodies, as long as we are consenting. . ." The ongoing pandemic has highlighted all the problems of current laws on procuring and criminalizing clients.
